HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Oh boy - i'm now 39 years old. One year left until I hit the big 40. Scary.....

I took a day off work and Phil, Jim, mum and I headed up to Aunty Noelenes in Kilcare (on the Central Coast) for the weekend.. They have a beautiful home overlooking the ocean looking across Broken Bay to Palm Beach and Barrenjoey Point

Noelene is a mind blowingly amazing cook. She cooked me a lovely seafood degustation of scollops, scampie, prawns and oysters. It was delicious and I am certain I have never had anything like it before

In the morning we went to the Nursery cafe for breakfast, where I also bought some herbs for my garden at home. We then spent the day doing some sightseeing and bushwalking and again a day full of great food and wine.

We had a fun night Saturday night and played a game of Talking Heads - as you can see from the photo's after a few bottles of red, we couldn't keep Peter or Jim away from each other. We laughed our heads off all night..
