Catching up with old friends

We spent a fantastic evening with my old B.F. Helen. They were staying at her parents house down on Carinya Rd, Picnic Point.

It was my first chance to see their new addition to the family - Keira. She is just such a cutie. She is going to be a real little social butterfly.

Also, I got to see little Chelsea who is now 4 years old and just growing up so fast. I thought I'd bring along a little gift for her. I gave her a little handbag and some jewellery. She just loved it and it was such a delight to see the joy she got from it. I took her to bed and read her Possum Magic (also one of Charlottes fav books).

Well I of course I was a hit. Helen walked passed Chelsea's room later on in the night and her talking to her little toy "Piglet" that she really likes Danielle. How cute is that.... What a little delight she is. Apparantly she has been wearing the little earings I bought her and telling everyone that "mummies friend bought these for me". So cute...

Anyway it was a great night - great company, great food, and two bottles of wine and a bottle of desert wine. Poor Helen had to get up to 2 kids the next day... Phil and I had a relaxing quiet day. The benefits of being DINK's.
